Affordable Health Screenings: Avita Offering Reduced Cost Blood Tests

Avita Health System is making health screenings more affordable and accessible this April with its Reduced Cost Blood Screenings program. Throughout the month, community members can purchase vouchers for a variety of essential lab tests at significantly lower prices, ensuring that preventive care is within reach for everyone.

With healthcare costs on the rise, these screenings offer an opportunity for individuals to take proactive steps in managing their health, whether monitoring cholesterol levels, blood sugar, thyroid function, or prostate health. Vouchers can be purchased at multiple Avita locations, including Galion Hospital, Bucyrus and Ontario Hospitals, and the Bellville and Shelby Walk-In Clinics from April 1 to April 30.

Affordable Screening Options & Locations

Avita Health System is offering several key health screenings at reduced costs, helping individuals keep track of vital health indicators. The available screenings include:

  • HealthLink Lab Profile (Lipids, Chems, CBC) – $30

  • HgbA1c (Glycosylated Hemoglobin, diabetes monitoring) – $30

These vouchers can be redeemed at any Avita Hospital, the Ontario South Campus lab, or the Bellville and Shelby Walk-In Clinics throughout April. To make participation even easier, vouchers can be purchased and used on the same day if testing preparation requirements are met.

Convenient Lab Hours & Next Steps
