Galion Youth Football is ready to roar into a new season, offering students in grades 1 through 6 a chance to develop skills, build friendships, and experience the thrill of football. Opportunities for All Skill Levels
The 2025 program includes options for both flag and tackle football:
- Flag Football is open to students in grades 1st–4th, with games scheduled for Saturday mornings.
- Tackle Football is designed for 5th and 6th graders, featuring Sunday afternoon games.

Several key dates are coming up for parents and guardians to mark on their calendars:
- May 12 and May 21, 5:00 – 7:30 PM: Mandatory fitting days for all tackle football players at the GYF Practice Field/Concession Shed.
- June 9, 6:00 – 7:30 PM: Final in-person registration at Heise Park.
- June 9: Deadline to register — don’t miss it!
