The Crawford County Prevention Coalition (CCPC) is excited to host the first “Amplified Expressions of Our Journey” on Sat, Aug 12, from 5 pm to 8 pm at Galion Community Theatre, 127 Harding Way West, Galion.
Join CCPC and their partners as they AMPLIFY the voices of recovery in our county through the beauty of artistic expression. This memorable evening is free to attend and will bring together local people in recovery sharing their stories with local artists to create unique artworks reflecting their journey.
“Stigma prevents struggling people from reaching out for help and isolates families affected by the disease who fear being judged by their communities,” explains Christi Eckert, Coalition Coordinator for Marion-Crawford Prevention Programs. “Help us reduce the stigma surrounding substance use by celebrating artistic expressions and accomplishments of local residents through their stories of hope and recovery.”
