Warm Up The Season With The 2nd Annual Community Fall Fest In Galion

November 2 is set to be a day of family fun, friendly competition, and community spirit as the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation hosts its 2nd Annual Community Fall Fest in Galion. Held at 777 Fairview Ave from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, this gathering promises something for everyone, with proceeds going directly to foster children in Crawford County.

Bringing the Community Together for a Great Cause

Founded in 2024 by Jordan Groves, a foster parent and advocate from Bucyrus, the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation is committed to making life a little brighter for foster children in the area. The organization, headquartered in Bucyrus, has quickly gained attention for its impactful work, from providing holiday gifts to offering year-round support for foster youth. The Foundation’s efforts primarily focus on fundraising to meet the needs of foster children, and the annual Apple Bash fundraiser at Pickwick Place has become a key event for local involvement. Now, with the 2nd Annual Community Fall Fest, the foundation invites everyone to come out, have fun, and support a cause that makes a real difference.

What to Expect at This Year’s Fall Fest

This year’s Fall Fest is packed with activities and entertainment that will appeal to all ages. Families can enjoy a bounce house and take part in a lively Chili Cook-Off and Pie Bake-Off, where local cooks and bakers will compete for the tastiest creations. Each chili entry requires a $10 fee per pot, and the same goes for pies, with all proceeds supporting the Foundation’s programs for foster children.

Visitors can also look forward to door prizes that add an extra layer of excitement to the event, with surprises and gifts sponsored by community members and local businesses.

The Fall Fest will also host a wide array of vendors, showcasing everything from artisanal crafts to delicious food. Vendors include well-known names like Real Life Naz, Kettle Krunch, toGETher Ministries, Galion YMCA, and Meraki Counseling LLC. Attendees can browse unique items from local businesses such as Three Bean Coffee, Big Back Shack, and Paperpie, and pick up some handcrafted goods from Angie’s Classy Glass, The Crochet Kit, and more.

Highlighting the Vendors and Community Contributors

This year’s vendor list reflects the spirit of collaboration and generosity that defines the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation’s mission. From handmade creations to professional services, the local businesses and organizations coming together at Fall Fest are a testament to the strength of the community.

Among the participating vendors are local wellness and support organizations like the Galion Health Department and My Village Ministries, which focus on family and community health. Additionally, representatives from popular brands such as Avon, Mary Kay, and Paparazzi will showcase their latest offerings, providing a little something for everyone.

Local food favorites, including Savvy Creations and Lularoe, will be on hand to tempt attendees with a range of flavors and treats, ensuring that no one leaves Fall Fest hungry. These businesses are more than just vendors; they are partners in supporting foster youth through the Butterfly Foundation’s mission.

Why the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation Matters

Foster children often face unique challenges, and the Crawford County Butterfly Foundation is dedicated to providing them with the support and resources they need. The Foundation’s community fundraisers, like the Fall Fest and Apple Bash, are crucial in generating the resources required to fulfill this mission.

By hosting community events, the Foundation not only raises funds but also builds a network of support for foster families, encouraging local residents to contribute in any way they can. Whether through donations, volunteer efforts, or simply attending events like the Fall Fest, every bit of support helps to improve the lives of foster children in Crawford County.
