The American Motorcyclist Association (AMA) and Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course are all revved up to host the 28th Permco AMA Vintage Motorcycle Days presented by Royal Enfield at the nearby Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. The 31st anniversary event, which is one of the world’s largest annual gatherings celebrating the history of motorcycling in America, will thunder into North Central Ohio from July 21-23.

Set amidst the 380-acre facility, including the traditional 2.4-mile, 15-turn natural terrain road course, the event is a roaring homage to America’s motorcycle heritage. Organized by Kim Green and Kevin Savoree of Green Savoree Racing Promotions, this year’s grand marshal will be the multi-talented AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer, Steve Wise.

“It’s not just about vintage bikes; it’s about celebrating the history of motorcycling in America and our shared passion for riding,” said Wise.

Attendees can expect a throttle-full of activities, including an abundance of racing – from Road Racing and Hare Scrambles to Motocross and Trials. Plus, the AMA Vintage Flat Track National Championship Series will kick up some dust at the Ashland County Fairgrounds on Saturday evening.

This vintage motorcycle gathering will also host a massive swap meet, where enthusiasts can wheel and deal over rare parts, accessories, and memorabilia. Vendors will provide a wide variety of motorcycle-related products and services, while the AMA Stage and AMA Event Tent will feature Q&A sessions with Wise, motorcycling information sessions, and a dedicated area for kids, thanks to Kenda Tires.

For those eager to feel the thrill of a ride, Royal Enfield will be on site to offer demo rides on their latest motorcycle models. Pre-registration is required due to high demand.

The weekend will feature off-track entertainment choices as well, including the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Bike Show, the Lap for History led by Wise himself, and daily shows at the Wall of Death and Moto Motion in the infield.

With the aim to preserve the heritage of motorcycling in the United States, the event serves as a fundraiser for the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame, a non-profit organization based in Pickerington, Ohio. All activities marked with ** require a donation to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame or an additional participant entry fee.

Founded in 1924, the AMA is the world’s largest motorcycling rights and event sanctioning organization. It works tirelessly to promote the motorcycle lifestyle and protect the future of motorcycling.
