Early September At Lowe-Volk Park

Tucked just north of Galion on State Route 598, Lowe-Volk Park offers more than trails and wildlife viewing. The Crawford Park District keeps the calendar lively with programs that invite visitors of all ages to connect with nature. Early September brings a mix of close encounters, after-dark adventures, and hands-on activities.

From garden spiders in carefully woven webs to fast-moving wolf spiders and tiny jumpers, the park is full of fascinating arachnids. This guided walk will highlight their diversity and give participants a better appreciation for the many-legged residents of Lowe-Volk.
