Galion Community Theatre’s 2025 youth production of Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is bringing a burst of color and talent to Uptowne Galion—and the excitement is unmistakable. With a cast of gifted performers aged 10 to 20, this beloved musical is more than a stage show—it’s a celebration of youthful passion, storytelling, and community spirit.
Dreams in Every Shade
Directed by Rachel Jarvis with musical direction and accompaniment by Amy Jarvis, Joseph is a vibrant retelling of the biblical tale of a dreamer whose coat of many colors becomes a symbol of resilience and hope. From being cast out by jealous brothers to rising through the ranks of Egyptian society, Joseph’s journey is told through a whirlwind of catchy tunes, toe-tapping choreography by Beth Anne Jarvis, and heartfelt performances.
Stage managed by Miranda Wise, the show’s creative team has crafted a production that’s both polished and joyful—giving young actors the chance to shine in leading and ensemble roles alike.

The young cast pours its heart into every number, from the iconic “Any Dream Will Do” to the high-energy “Go, Go, Go Joseph.” Whether you’re a longtime fan of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic or discovering it for the first time, this production promises to charm audiences of all ages. The cast includes Lucas Weaver in the title role.
