Galion’s love for the arts took center stage Saturday night as the Galion Community Theatre hosted its fundraiser, Do-Re-Mi @Pub House 123. The lively event blended good music, good company, and a shared sense of purpose, all in support of the theatre’s ongoing mission to bring quality performances to the local stage.
A Crowd That Came for a Cause
By 6:00 PM, the cozy warmth of Pub House 123 on Harding Way East was already buzzing. Guests filled the space, chatting with familiar faces and new friends as local performers began taking the stage. The lineup mixed Broadway favorites with pop and rock hits, creating an atmosphere that felt both polished and comfortably small-town.
Several of Galion’s regular theatre performers returned for the night, joined by special guests who added fresh energy to the mix. The variety kept the audience engaged, from show tunes that stirred applause to familiar songs that had a few people quietly singing along at their tables.
Performances began at 7PM and went until 9PM.

More Than Just Music
This wasn’t just an evening of entertainment. Every note sung and every round of applause helped support the Galion Community Theatre’s future programming. A portion of the night’s proceeds went directly toward the theatre’s mission, and even the drink menu played a role—guests could “buy a drink for a singer,” with all those sales donated to GCT.
There was also a raffle for a 2026 Choreographer Level Membership and two GCT pint glasses, keeping the crowd excited between performances. A themed specialty drink added to the fun, with Pub House 123 staff keeping glasses full and the mood easygoing.
A Community That Shows Up
By the end of the night, the sense of connection was unmistakable. It wasn’t just about fundraising—it was about community pride, and a reminder that Galion’s theatre family extends far beyond the stage.
Events like Do-Re-Mi @Pub House 123 show what happens when art, local business, and community support come together. It’s that combination that keeps the curtain rising, both literally and figuratively, on Galion’s creative spirit.
