Starting October 21, residents across Galion will see paving crews from Bucyrus Road Materials and Kokosing Construction at work as the city begins its 2025 street paving program. The effort, part of the city’s ongoing investment in neighborhood infrastructure, will improve streets in several areas throughout the community.

- North Columbus Street (Payne to Grant)
- First Avenue (Harding Way to Dawsett)
- South Street (Covert Way to Richardson)

What to Expect
Drivers should plan for temporary lane closures and brief access interruptions as paving progresses. City officials encourage residents to use caution around work zones and to follow posted detours or flagger instructions.
The paving work is expected to wrap up before the end of the construction season, weather permitting.
