The City of Galion is taking a significant step forward in customer convenience with the launch of a new online utility payment system. Starting March 17, residents have been able to experience a more secure, user-friendly platform known as ReCo Anywhere. This upgrade promises enhanced security and ease of access while ensuring a smooth transition with no service disruptions.
What You Need to Know
No Downtime – Uninterrupted Access
Galion utility customers will be redirected to the new system automatically when they log in. There will be no interruption to services, meaning you can continue making payments without delay.
New Login Credentials – Email-Based Access
One of the most notable changes is the shift to an email-based login instead of a username. To access your account:
- Use your email address and current password.
- If you forgot your password, simply click “Forgot Password”, and a reset link will be sent to your email.
Bookmark Updates – Stay Connected
To ensure continued access, users should update their bookmarks to reflect the new payment portal link. All online payments will now be processed through ReCo Anywhere.
Meet ReCo: The Technology Behind the Upgrade
Founded in 1997 by Gary Norton, ReCo has been at the forefront of government revenue collection systems. Originally launched as Norton Technology/ReCo Cashiering, Norton’s vision was to revolutionize how U.S. county and city governments manage payments.
