Galion School Levy Fails; Other Levies, Schmidt, Price Win

It took some time last night for the results to be announced by the Crawford County Board of Elections. When they were and vote totals were known, local races and levies saw very different results.

All three of the Crawford County-wide services levies were approved by voters, while the Galion City Schools Permanent Improvement Levy was defeated by a 60.56% to 39.44% margin.

The only other school levy in the county, that for Wynford Schools, passed by a somewhat similar margin. In the race for the two County Commissioner seats, both incumbents won.
