Colonel Crawford Makes Sports Schedule Changes Due To Extreme Cold

Colonel Crawford Schools have announced several changes to their athletic schedules along with news of a weather-related closure.

Athletic Updates for Tuesday, January 21:

  • Middle School Basketball:
    • 7th and 8th Grade Girls Basketball (Away) and Boys Basketball (Home) games versus Mohawk have been moved to Saturday, January 25 at 10:00 AM and 11:15 AM.
  • 9th Grade Boys Basketball:
    • The game against Lexington scheduled for January 25 has been cancelled. A new date will be announced soon.
  • High School Swim Meet:
    • The coed swim meet originally scheduled has been rescheduled to Tuesday, January 28 at Colonel Crawford. Participating teams include Galion, Margaretta, and Mt. Gilead.
  • High School Girls Basketball:
    • The Varsity game against Willard is still on as planned for Tuesday night starting at 6:00 PM at Colonel Crawford. This is a Varsity-only contest.

Colonel Crawford Schools will be closed Tuesday, January 21 due to extreme cold conditions. A decision regarding the status of school on Wednesday will be made following tomorrow’s evaluation of the weather and road conditions.
