The tradition of excellence continues at Galion High School as another contingent of Tiger boy golfers are heading to the state tournament, having won the Division II Northwest District competition in Oregon, near Toledo.

The Tigers scored a 314, which was tw0 strokes ahead of second place Ottawa Hills. Fellow MOAC school Shelby was in fifth place. Nick Mullen was the Tigers’ top player, who shot a 75.

The team now heads to the state tournament, which will take place this coming Friday and Saturday on the Scarlet Court at The Ohio State University in Columbus.
