Families will take over Heise Park on Sunday, September 13, as the Galion Kids Festival returns with four hours of activities designed especially for younger visitors. The free community event will run from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, bringing together inflatables, games, entertainment and hands-on attractions throughout the park.
A Park Full of Things to Do
Organizers are planning a wide range of activities, with enough variety to keep children moving from one attraction to the next. The festival lineup includes inflatables, an obstacle course, a toddler play area sponsored by Busy B’s, a petting zoo and train rides. Children can also stop by a bubble station, meet a balloon artist, take part in carnival games and enjoy music from a DJ. Prizes, a foam party and additional activities are also planned.
The combination gives families the chance to make an entire morning of the event, whether children want to tackle the obstacle course, ride the train or simply spend some time surrounded by bubbles and balloons.
A Community Effort
The Galion Kids Festival is presented by American Bail Bonds and Sluss Realty Co., with additional support from businesses and organizations throughout the Galion area.
