Did you know that salamanders are among the most secretive amphibians? At Face to Face: Salamanders, visitors will have the chance to meet some of these fascinating creatures in person at the Lowe-Volk Park Nature Center. Learn about their lifecycles, habitats, and unique adaptations—including the incredible axolotl, a salamander that never undergoes full metamorphosis! This is a perfect event for nature lovers eager to explore the hidden world of amphibians.

- 🦷 Homeschool in Nature: Dental Detectives (10 AM & 2 PM)
What can teeth tell us? Homeschoolers ages 5-12 will analyze animal skulls to determine their species and diet. A fascinating mix of science and discovery, this program requires pre-registration at 419-683-9000. - 🐞 Little Explorers: Bugs (5:30 PM)
Geared toward children ages 0-5, this interactive program will introduce little learners to the world of bugs through sensory play and hands-on activities. A great opportunity for toddlers to explore nature in a fun and engaging way!
