The 2023 Great Pumpkin Glow at Kingwood Center Gardens in Mansfield is an event you won’t want to miss. Scheduled for Friday to Sunday, October 20-22, the gardens will be open from 4-9:00 PM each night. This year’s event promises to be a radiant spectacle with 1,000 jack-o’-lanterns lighting up the night.

Tickets are available for purchase and are required for entry. Member pricing is $10 for those 13 and older, $5 for children aged 7-12, and free for those 6 and under. Non-members will pay $12 and $6 for the same respective age groups.

Timed Tickets and Weather-Proof Plans

The event uses a timed-ticket entry system. Your ticketed time marks the start of a half-hour arrival window. For example, if you purchase a 7:00 PM ticket, you should arrive between 7-7:30 PM. While entry is timed, guests are welcome to stay until the event closes at 9:00 PM. The event will go on rain, snow, or shine, and tickets are non-refundable.

Getting There and Parking

Parking for the event will be at Mansfield Senior High School. Access to the school parking is available from West Fourth Street and West Park Boulevard. Staff and signs will guide you to the parking area. Shuttles will be available to take you to the event entrance, or you can choose to walk.

A Night of Enchantment and Entertainment

Kingwood Center Gardens will transform into a magical landscape featuring a 15-foot Mum Tree, Scarecrow Row, Greenhouse Glow, and an Enchanted Forest. A children’s carnival, live DJ, food trucks, and autumn activities will keep the whole family entertained.

Food, Music, and Costumes

An array of food trucks will be on-site to satisfy all your culinary cravings. Live DJs will be spinning festive tunes throughout the night to keep the atmosphere lively. Children 12 and under are welcome to wear age-appropriate costumes, and adults and teens can also don costumes as long as their faces are not concealed.

Community Pumpkin Carving

As in years past, if you want to be a part of the glowing spectacle join the Community Pumpkin Carving event on October 18 & 19 from 12-8 PM. Admission is free when you come to help carve, and all materials will be provided.
