Sunday afternoon brought the sounds of the Shawshank Big Band to the sanctuary of First United Church of Christ on Harding Way West.
In addition to big band tunes from the 1930s through 1960s shared by one of the best bands in this part of Ohio, several Galion High School music students presented solos recently performed in contest.
Presented by the First UCC Music Program, a free will offering was taken during the event for the Galion Music Parents and for Preserving Galion, Inc./The Gill House.
