On Wednesday morning, the Crawford County Board of Elections updated its unofficial summary report of Tuesday election results for City of Galion races.

There was no change in any of the reported total numbers for Galion City Council races, both at-large and in the city’s four wards. There was an update on the race for Treasurer, which took place between two write-in candidates.

In that contest, Roberta Wade defeated Morgan Bell by a vote of 122 to 50.

As of January 1, therefore, this will be the slate of elected City officials if subsequently certified:

  • Mayor – Tom O’Leary
  • Auditor – Brian Saterfield
  • Director of Law – Thomas Palmer
  • Treasurer – Roberta Wade
  • Council President – Eric Webber
  • City Council:
    • Kara Ault, At-Large
    • Ken Bodkins, First Ward
    • Cathy George, At-Large
    • Jessica Kemp, Second Ward
    • Brian Palmer, At-Large
    • Mike Richart, Third Ward
    • Carrie Zeger, Fourth Ward

The Board of Elections will meet on November 15 to conduct an official count of these results. This morning’s report can be accessed here.
