The season of giving is upon us, and what better way to spread cheer than by supporting the young members of our community? The Goodwill stores in Bucyrus and Galion are orchestrating a warm-hearted initiative to aid students in the Crawford County Schools. This benevolent drive focuses on gathering new items, ensuring that every child can embrace the winter season with comfort and joy.

A Call for Community Action

From November 13 to December 15, community members are invited to participate in this charitable act by donating brand new winter essentials. The items will benefit students from Bucyrus City Schools, Galion City Schools, and Colonel Crawford Local Schools.

Contributors can drop off their donations at the Bucyrus or Galion Goodwill Stores during store hours. For those who donate, a token of appreciation awaits—a $5 Goodwill Cash Card, redeemable to enjoy the variety of offerings at Goodwill stores.

Specific Needs for Students

The drive has a particular focus on items that are essential during the colder months. For students in kindergarten through fifth grade, the requested items include:

  • Hats
  • Gloves
  • Socks
  • Underwear
  • Sweats (Tops and Bottoms)
  • Tennis Shoes

Students from sixth to twelfth grade are in need of similar items, with an emphasis on robust winter accessories.

Community Impact Through Kindness

The donation drive is not just about providing material goods; it’s a testament to the community’s spirit of generosity. Each contribution is a step towards warming the hearts and lives of young students, fostering an environment where no child is left unprepared for winter.

Support the Drive Today

By participating in the Winter Donation Drive, you are not only clearing out your closet for a cause but also investing in the future of our children. Your kindness can spark a chain of goodwill that reverberates throughout our community.
