In addition to books, periodicals, computers, and many other reasons to come into the Galion Public Library, the following activities are being held during the month of February in addition to Storytime and regular Library offerings.
Coffee & Coloring – Wednesday, February 8 – 3 to 4 PM – Join us at 3 Bean Coffee House for an hour of cozy coloring and drinks! All ages are welcome! We have both simple and complex coloring pages available. The only cost to you is your drink of choice! We hope to see you there!
Lego Club – Thursday, February 9 – 4:30 to 5:30 PM – Individuals ages 5-18 (and their families) are invited to drop in and build. No registration is required.
Music Share – Monday, February 13 – 5 to 6 PM – Do you have good taste in music? Or are you looking for new music to listen to? Look no further; Music Share lets you share and discover new music, recommended by people like you who have a shared passion for it. Open to adults and teens ages 15+!
Bring a selection of songs or an album that you’d like to share that you think other people should be listening to! We’ll all sit and listen to it together and discuss it as we like.
Teen Anime Club – Tuesday, February 14 – 6:30 to 8 PM
Individuals in grades 6-12 are invited to join us as we watch and discuss new anime and manga. No registration is required.
Animation Movie Night – Thursday, February 16 at 6 PM – 1988 movie release – Join us as we watch movies from one of our favorite animation studios on the 3rd Thursday of every month. All ages are welcome.
Curious about the animation studio, movie titles, or ratings? Call the library at 419-468-3203. Movies start promptly at 6:00 pm. Space may be limited, so please plan to arrive on time.
Cocoa and Cookies – Saturday, February 18 – 2 to 3 PM – Children and teens ages 10-18 are invited to test out our hot cocoa bar, and decorate cookies! Registration is required.

Family Movie Night – Monday, February 20 – 3 to 4:40 PM – 2022 movie release – All ages are invited to join us for a newly released movie. No registration is required, but space may be limited. The movie starts at 6!
Bring a pillow and blanket and get comfy! Popcorn and drinks will be served. Children under 8 must be accompanied.
Bingo for Books – Monday, February 20 – 6 to 7:30 PM – Come in and play bingo, winners leave with a new book of their choice! There will be plenty of opportunities to win too; Cards will be played through until we get three bingo winners each round! We’ll be playing from 6PM-7:30PM. Always free to play!
This is a bi-monthly event! We will play bingo for books on the 2nd to last Monday of the month.
Teen Game Night – Tuesday, February 21 – 6 to 8 PM – Individuals in grades 6-12 are invited to join us for board games, card games and video games. No registration is required.
You are welcome to bring one of your own or come play one of the many games we own.
Teen D&D Club – Thursday, February 23 – 6 to 8 PM – Individuals in grades 6 – 12 are invited to join us for Dungeons and Dragons on the 4th Thursday of the month! Sign is required; you can sign up at the library or call us at 419-468-3203. Spots are limited. Game starts at 6pm and runs as late as 8pm.
Dice and character will be provided if needed. Snacks and drinks will be available.
