Staff Inservice Day – A Commitment to Excellence

The library will be closed on this day as the staff will be participating in a training session. This inservice day reflects the library’s commitment to continuous improvement and professional development. Bingo for Books – A Fun Way to Discover New Reads

Date: Mon, Aug 21st, 6-7:30pm

Join fellow book lovers for a fun game of bingo at the library. Winners will leave with a new book of their choice, and cards will be played through until three bingo winners are found each round. This bi-monthly event is always free to play and offers a delightful way to spend an evening and discover new reading material.

Adult Game Night – Socialize and Play

Date: Mon, Aug 28th, 5:30-8pm

Adults ages 18 and above are invited to a special game night at the library. Enjoy a variety of games ranging from cards to board games, and feel free to bring your own snacks. The group can decide on the games or split into smaller groups for more personalized fun. Snacks and refreshments will be provided. This event occurs every final Monday of the month, so don’t miss out!

Adult Dungeons and Dragons – Embark on an Adventure

Date: Tue, Aug 29th, 6-8pm

Whether you’re a new adventurer or a 1E veteran, the library’s Dungeons and Dragons campaign is open to players ages 17 and above. Seats are limited to SIX players, so be sure to sign up by emailing nico@galionlibrary.org with your first and last name, age, and phone number. You’ll receive an email confirming your seat or if the seats are filled. Late sign-ups will be added to an on-call list for future openings. This event occurs every final Tuesday of the month.
