Colonel Crawford Middle School is hoding a Football Camp for students in grades K-8.

The camp, scheduled for May 13 and 14 from after school until 5:00 PM, aims to introduce young students to the fundamentals of football and offer advanced training for older participants. With guidance from high school and middle school coaches and players, this camp is a practical opportunity for skill development in young athletes.

The two-day camp is divided into sessions based on grade levels: K-2, 3-5, and 6-8. This structure allows for age-appropriate instruction and maximizes learning outcomes for all participants. The camp’s focus is on teaching football techniques, skills necessary for team play, and enhancing overall sportsmanship.

Participants will be coached on various aspects of football, from basic skills for younger students to more sophisticated strategies and techniques for older attendees. The camp is designed to prepare students to become future players for Colonel Crawford, emphasizing practical skills and team collaboration. High and middle school coaches, along with current players, will lead the sessions, providing insights from their own experiences.

The registration fee for the camp is $30.00 per player, with checks made payable to CCABC Football Camp. Attendees are required to bring training shoes (for potential indoor training due to rain), cleats, shorts, and shirts. Activities are scheduled to take place at the Colonel Crawford Athletic Complex, utilizing both practice fields and the stadium.
