The course at Amann’s Reservoir is a familiar place for members of the Galion High School Cross County teams.

On Saturday morning, it was the scene of a strong finish for GHS Girls, who finished in third place in the MOAC Championship race.

The Tigers finished with 79 points, behind league champion Shelby and second-place Highland. Ontario finished in fourth place.

The top finisher for Galion was junior Raygann Campbell, with a time of 20:32:8. Madison Beck came next, finishing with the 11th fastest time.

Other GHS runners in the top 30 were Nora Harding and Elisha Brown.

For the Boys’ team, the top finisher was sophomore Anthony Ferini with a time of 18:02:6. The Tigers ended up in 7th place as a team.
