The Galion High School Varsity Boys Soccer Team is selling tickets to the Columbus Crew vs. New York Red Bulls MLS Soccer match scheduled to be played at Lower.com Stadium on October 1. The Ticket Price per seat is $50.

At last count, the team still needed to sell 100 more tickets in order to qualify GHS for the opportunity to play fellow Mid-Ohio Athletic Conference River Valley a week later, on October 8, at Lower.com Stadium.

A few years ago, Galion was able to generate enough ticket sales in order to take on North Olmstead’s Varsity Soccer Team in much the same way, but at a different venue/stadium in Columbus, but at a professional MLS Stadium nonetheless.

What stands between the Tigers getting this rare opportunity to play in the same Stadium that the Columbus Crew plays in is the number of tickets that need to be sold. To date, the team has managed to sell approximately 150 tickets, but as mentioned above, there still remains about 100 more to be sold. There is also a deadline involved with the sale of these tickets in that all ticket sales (and receipt of monetary donations) must be completed by September 20. Please consider helping the boys by purchasing a ticket and/or a monetary donation (of any amount).

If you would like to purchase some tickets, or if you might like to simply donate some money (in any amount) for this very noble cause, please contact:
