It’s been a few days since the GHS Girls Volleyball’s exciting win over state-ranked Huron, and the next stage of tournament play awaits.

It takes place on Thursday night at 6 PM at Millbury Lake High School. The Tigers’ match is against Fairbanks. The venue is located at 28080 Lemoyne Road in Millbury, just west of Interstate 280 near Toledo Executive Airport.

Fairbanks has a 23-2 record going into the Regionals and finished first in the Ohio Heritage North Conference. In their last match against Worthington Christian, the Panthers took all three initial sets.

The Regional Championship match will take place this Saturday at 2:00 PM.

Galion itself will be a busy place this Thursday and Saturday when four Division II teams come to play in a Regional at Galion High School. Those teams are: Liberty Benton, Gilmour Academy, Vermilion, and Columbus Bishop Hartley.

The championship match of that Regional will also be played at 2:00 PM Saturday afternoon.
