The Mansfield Reformatory Paranormal Society is stirring up the supernatural scene with its recent social media announcement of new paranormal programming at the Ohio State Reformatory. These initiatives, designed for enthusiasts of all levels, offer a unique blend of education and hands-on experience. The programs cater to a wide age group and are set to kick off soon, promising thrilling explorations into the world of the paranormal.

Delving into the Paranormal: A Four-Phase Adventure

The highlight of these offerings is the “Paranormal Institute,” a comprehensive four-phase program. This educational adventure combines classroom learning with practical ghost hunting training. The institute is accessible to participants aged 13 and above, ensuring a broad appeal.

The four phases will take place on March 23, May 4, June 22, and July 27. Curriculum will include an introduction into the history of the paranormal, fundamental investigate techniques, investigation how-tos including etiquette, learning about debunking techniques, and various types of hunting equipment. One hour of classroom instruction will be followed by a four hour guided investigation.

Upon completion of all four phases, attendees earn a “Paranormal Membership,” granting them exclusive benefits.

Perks of Paranormal Membership

Participants who successfully navigate through the Paranormal Institute’s rigorous curriculum are rewarded with the Paranormal Membership. This membership is not just a certificate; it’s a gateway to a range of perks. Members enjoy a 10% discount on various programs, in the café, the store, and also receive a complimentary t-shirt. Additionally, they are entitled to four free daytime tour tickets, enhancing their engagement with the Mansfield Reformatory’s paranormal realm.

Mini Public Ghost Hunt: A Compact Paranormal Experience

For those whose curiosity is piqued but are pressed for time, the Reformatory offers the “Mini Public Ghost Hunt.” This program is designed for individuals aged 18 and above, offering a condensed, yet immersive, paranormal investigation experience. Running from 10 PM to 2 AM, it’s a perfect fit for the night owls and the inquisitively brave. Plus participants have the option to rent hunting equipment, making it an ideal opportunity for beginners without their own gear.

The Mini Public Ghost Hunt serves as an excellent introduction to the world of ghost hunting. It’s a shorter, more accessible version of a full-scale investigation, perfect for those who are curious about the paranormal but may not have the time or resources for longer commitments.
