Galion City Schools has launched a new social media page dedicated to school meals, menus and nutrition information for students and families. The district announced Wednesday that the new Facebook page, Galion City Schools – Tiger Table, was created because of technical issues affecting its previous food service page.
District families are encouraged to like and follow the new page to receive updates throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
More Than a Place to Find Menus
The Tiger Table page will provide school breakfast and lunch menus, food service announcements, nutrition updates and information about special events. It will also highlight students and staff while sharing how the district’s food service program helps prepare students for the school day.
“Serving nutritious meals, sharing menu updates, celebrating our students and staff, and fueling Galion City Schools students for success,” the district wrote in introducing the new page.

Free Breakfast and Lunch Continue
Galion City Schools participates in the Community Eligibility Provision, a federal program that allows eligible school districts to provide meals to all students without requiring families to submit individual applications for free or reduced-price meals. As a result, every Galion student may receive breakfast and lunch at no charge each school day. Parents and guardians do not need to complete a free or reduced-price meal application.
Adult breakfast is available for $3, while adult lunch costs $5.50. Students who bring a packed lunch may purchase milk for 50 cents, and additional milk is also available for 50 cents.
The district’s new Tiger Table page will serve as the primary social media destination for those meal-program updates as the new school year approaches.
