A Sweet Taste Of Fall Comes To Galion

Fall flavors and festive designs will take center stage in Galion this October as Cake & Icing Bakery offers two hands-on cake decorating classes at Avita Home Health & Hospice. Think of them as as slow and steady introduction to the upcoming Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

Scheduled for Thursday, October 22 and Thursday, October 29, both beginning at 6:00 PM, the classes invite participants to celebrate the season by creating their own fall-themed cakes, complete with decorative icing and autumn-inspired finishing touches.

A Little Frosting And A Lot Of Creativity

Each participant will receive a six-inch, double-layer cake ready to transform into a seasonal creation. With step-by-step instruction from Cake & Icing Bakery, attendees will learn decorating techniques and apply their own creative touches to produce a finished cake they can proudly take home.

The $35 registration fee covers everything needed for the experience, including the cake itself, icing, decorating supplies, and instruction. No additional materials are required. The classes offer an opportunity to try something creative, spend an evening with friends, or simply enjoy a hands-on activity that ends with something delicious.

Two Opportunities To Join The Fun

Both classes will be held in the conference room at Avita Home Health & Hospice, located at 1220 N. Market St. in Galion. Participants may choose either October 22 or October 29, with each session beginning at 6:00 PM.

Space is limited, and advance registration and payment are required. Those interested should call 419-468-1101 to reserve a place.

With pumpkins, frosting, and a little imagination, these October evenings promise a sweet way to welcome the heart of autumn.
