The annual Lincoln Highway Buy-Way Sale will make a one-day stop at the Crestline Historical Museum on Thursday, August 13. From 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, shoppers can browse duplicate artifacts and donated merchandise at the museum, located at 400 Scott Street. The sale coincides with the statewide Buy-Way event, which stretches across communities along the historic Lincoln Highway.
Crestline is especially suited to take part in the event. One of the Lincoln Highway’s routes through Crawford County passed through the community, giving the museum sale a direct connection to the road being celebrated.
The museum will also be open for public tours during the sale.
Donations Welcome, With One Exception
Residents clearing out cupboards, garages or spare rooms can contribute items to the sale. The Crestline Ohio Historical Society is accepting a wide range of donations, but organizers ask that no clothing be donated.
Sale proceeds will support the society’s work to collect, preserve and share Crestline’s history.
A Chance to Win While Supporting the Museum
Visitors can also purchase tickets for the society’s Gift Card Raffle. Tickets cost $1 each or six for $5.
The raffle and sale offer two simple ways to support the society’s continuing effort to “save yesterday for tomorrow.”
